The Wooden Architecture Route [7] - Gladyszow

It seems to be that many of you like old and wooden churches:), so we're coming back on the Wooden Architecture Route!
In today's photo there is the Greek Catholic Parish Church in Gladyszow. It's not so old (built in 1938-39) like the temples which we posted in recent days, but it has very unusual shape and interesting colouring.
In the second photo you can find further information about it.

Beautiful color saturation. Lots of symbolism in the structure's design. Lovely pic.

Until now I was a fan of natural wood, but this church is so charming with its bright colors and its telescope front. It is difficult to think that this building was built just before the last war and survived intact.

Zgadza się, że niezwykły. Może dlatego, że nawiązuje do dalszych tradycji?

Swoją drogą, gdzieś tu na Śląsku (kiedyś nawet mijałem) jest taki dość duży i dziwny kościół drewniany -- architektura inna, ale bliższa temu z Gładyszowa, niż innym mi znanym.

The smooth planks and bright color do mark it as something much younger than the other wooden churches you've posted. But it's still gorgeous!

Yes, if there are more of those churches, you are welcome to continue... not forgetting the landscape!
