Spring is in the air!

It seems to be that spring is coming. The banks of the Kamienica River are still white, but generally there is no snow in Nowy Sącz.

In the photo there are the footbridge (so-called Kładka nad Kamienicą) over the Kamienica River and the Sport Hall.

Crazy Weather

The weather today was really crazy. It was snowing but after a while the sun was shining. The weather is making fun of us. Well, we have today April Fool's Day - and the weather fits this day perfectly. It looks like the weather wants to say: 'You have already spring' but after a few minutes changes her mind and says: 'No, it is still winter'. Maybe tomorrow the weather will be more generous.

Falkowa

Photo from Falkowa (one of housing estates in Nowy Sącz) where there are a lot of allotments. Now everything is still grey and brown but for us also charming - plants are slowly wake up from winter sleep.

Kadcza

It looks like the winter is coming to the end so maybe this is one of the last winter photos.

Just near Kadcza there is a village called Jazowsko. This is one of photos from there.

Today we want to show you Kadcza - a village located near Łącko. It is a very beautiful place in every season of the year.

Another time we decided to rummage in our archive and we find this view towards the center of Nowy Sacz.

Unfortunately it is far too cold to go for a walk and to take photos.

White Gown

The view towards the center of Nowy Sacz. We presented similar photo two weeks ago (here) but we also want to show you this area dressed in the white gown made from snow.

Springtime?

The weather today was beautiful - it was sunny and quite warm. Snow melted and all around us looks like in the springtime. Today we present you the view from one of the bridges on Kamienica River towards center of the town. You can see the townhall and Saint Margaret church.

Transmitter Tower

Transmitter Tower (so-called 'Przekaźnik') above Nowy Sacz. From the foots of it you can admire beautiful mountains around Nowy Sacz and the town as well. More than two years ago we presented an example of such mountainous view from under the transmitter.

First snow

First snow. In the foreground you can see the church of Our Lady Immaculate.
