Spring is in the air!

Sunset
It seems to be that spring is coming. The banks of the Kamienica River are still white, but generally there is no snow in Nowy Sącz.

Late afternoon's castle

A new perspective of Nowy Sacz's castle. Sunsets are great! They are even able to shed a golden light on old stone walls:)

Sun-kissed and shaded

The building of Nowy Sacz's townhall. The sun makes that everything looks more amicable, warm and optimistic!

UFO?

Is this a landing UFO? No, it is just the joke which sunset did to us:)

You can see the Saturday's view from one bank of Dunajec River to another:) It is the view on Helena (one of the districts of Nowy Sacz). You can see the spires of the church (we will show the photo of it soon:))

Over the ground

If you look at this photo precisely you will see many of pigeons which relax on the roof of one of the tenements in Jagiellonska Street. We took the photo from Kosciuszki Street.

The reflection

These buildings are situated in the centre of Nowy Sacz, on the Szwedzka Street (Swedish Street). It crosses the main street of the town - Jagiellonska Street. The name 'Swedish Street' reminds the Swedish invasion on Poland in the second half of the XVII century. Nowy Sacz was one of the towns which broke free from the Swedish rule at the earliest.

The yellow tenement in the afternoon

Narutowicza Street is in the center of the town (behind the Saint Casimir Church). It is always crowded because many drivers park their cars there. The yellow tenement was renovated last year.
As you can see in the photo spring is coming to Nowy Sacz:)
