This is a nice composition and pleasing to the eye...but it leaves me with a question (naturally!)...is there are castle here or is this wall what's left of it?
I can almost imagine the courtyard that the balcony looks down upon. Medieval?

@Jacob and Hilda - the castle was build in 1350-1360 by the king Casimir the Great. During the II World War Germans had stock of ammunition there. In 1945 the castle was blown by Germans. After the end of the war, bastille(Baszta Kowalska) was rebuilt (you can see it on our photos).
Thanks for the information. Amazing it was built so long ago and then just blown up. Glad that it has been rebuilt.
You have added some splendid photos of very beautiful buildings here during Easter. This castle is very interesting and the photo is excellent.

That balcony(?) is just wonderful and the whole castle is very original.
Great that this old castle was rebuilt. It's so horrible what Germans during the WWII have done. We can build a brighter future.
