Thin and Fat

In today's photo there are the properties of the former monastery of Franciscans (on the left) and the Evangelical Church (on the right). You could also see these buildings in our blog in another perspective few days ago.
The photo was taken from the right bank of the Dunajec river.

Różnice i podobieństwa. Mimo 'szczupłości' franciszkańskiej wieży, ma ona dość podobne zwieńczenie :)

They are different in shape and colors with the Franciscan building almost colorful and elongated, the Evangelical a bit squat, more practical perhaps.
Tops are similar with the pronounced green spire crying for the sky against the more sober dark one.

Fajny tytuł. Powinno być dokładnie na odwrót, hehe ;-)

Are the Franciscans closer to heaven?

The contrast between the two is most interesting as pointed out by Vogon Poet.

You don't say, but is the monastery no longer used as such?

I like your viewpoint in this photo.

Great to see that both Lord's houses so close together. Are the well-attended?

PS. thank you for visiting my poetry blog.

I love the title of your post. Did they also have a contest to see who could have the highest steeple:)

I'd have to agree about the title. Certainly helped catch my attention in the midst of lenten! ;)
