St. Casimir's church inside

Finally we managed to enter to the St. Casimir's church. Tomorrow we will show you next two photos from the inside of this beautiful church. Have a nice weekend!

Great shots, the second one is more "alive". I was surprised by the ornate interior of this church, the outside was quite misleading in this sense.

Very impressive. Appears to be much more ornate than the newer Catholic churches in the States.

That is a very beautiful interior. I was surprised too, most of the Catholic churches I have seen (in Romania and Germany as well as here in the UK) have been much plainer than this.

I'm featuring some Orthodox frescoes tomorrow and the next few days on the Sibiu blog, it will be interesting to see how they compare!

If I attended services here, I would not pay any attention to what was being said - I would be too busy enjoying the awesome beauty of this place!
