Finally we managed to enter to the St. Casimir's church. Tomorrow we will show you next two photos from the inside of this beautiful church. Have a nice weekend!
That is a very beautiful interior. I was surprised too, most of the Catholic churches I have seen (in Romania and Germany as well as here in the UK) have been much plainer than this.
I'm featuring some Orthodox frescoes tomorrow and the next few days on the Sibiu blog, it will be interesting to see how they compare!
We would like to share with you our best photos of Nowy Sacz and its neighborhood. Our town is not large (about 85,000 inhabitants; located in the south of Poland) but there is a lot of places which are worth to see.
We hope you will enjoy Nowy Sacz!

Great shots, the second one is more "alive". I was surprised by the ornate interior of this church, the outside was quite misleading in this sense.
I am coming over one of these days to see this amazing beauty in person. So lovely.
Beautiful photos!
I love those fine paintings.
gorgeous!
Gorgeous paintings! Amazing ceilings!
Wow, that's an amazing interior! It looks freshly restored too.
Oh so beautiful!
Przynajmniej jedno miejsce, gdzie jest wiosna :)
(No dobrze, nie narzekam, dzisiaj u mnie też się robi.)
You captured the unique interior of this sacred site. Great and thanks!
Amazing ceiling.. Wonderful shots
Very impressive. Appears to be much more ornate than the newer Catholic churches in the States.
Your photos are excellent!

Świetne! Faktycznie piękne miejsce:)
Wow such wonderful artwork. I can only imagine how long it took for them to paint the pictures.
Most impressive. Whenever I see these kinds of ceiling paintings, I wonder, "How did they do that?"
It's really quite incredible!
If I attended services here, I would not pay any attention to what was being said - I would be too busy enjoying the awesome beauty of this place!
