The Saint Margaret's church

This is the Saint Margaret's church. We realised that you have seen the spires of it on our photos (here and here) but you haven't seen the whole church yet.
This church was built in the half of the XIV century but it did not look like nowadays. It was frequently rebuilt (new naves and other elements were added). The last rebuilding took place in 1969-1973.
The church is situated in the centre of the town.

Incredible. These kinds of buildings are so intriguing...

Do many people attend worship here?

Beautiful photos!

I love the "eastern" brick churches, they look even better with the snow laden trees.

Yes, many people attend to churches in Nowy Sacz, it is specific for our region. There are many masses on Sundays and churches are full of people. Even on everyday masses there are many people. In summer in Transfiguration Holiday (in the Saint Margaret's church there is holy painting of Transfiguration)ceremonies took place during all week and many people from our region come.
