This is the detail which we promised to show you. The creatures in the paintings look similar to mitological griffins. We found it interesting:)

Number 1

This is the building of the primary school number 1 in Nowy Sacz. It is located in the center of Nowy Sacz, just next to the Saint Casimir church, on the corner of Dlugosza Street and Konarskiego Street.

We will post some interesting detail of this building tomorrow:)

Charming...

We searched our archive and we found this charming Willa-Zofia:) It needs renovation but for sure it is a beautiful and interesting building:)

Polish Independence Day

Today, we celebrate the independence day. A short note about it you can read here.

In the photo there is a stained-glass window from the Nowy Sacz's Basilica. You can see in it the White Eagle - the national coat of arms of Poland.

Better late than never:)

When we posted our previous photo in the late summer we really did not expect that the next one we present you in the middle of the autumn. We know that you were extremely patient and we appreciate it very much!
So, today we have something for really patient people:) - chess table on the Square of May 3rd in Nowy Sacz.
We hope to update our blog next time sooner than in the winter:) Take care!

Postcard from holidays

Hello again:) We are back after wonderful holidays. This is one of the photos which we took in ... you can guess where:) (it is a really easy puzzle:))

Unfortunately it seems to be that we will be very busy and we won't manage to run our blog as a Daily Photo Blog. It means that we will post photos not so often as we used to do it. But of course we invite you to visit our blog! It will be great pleasure for us!

End of holidays?

Today we decided to post quite holiday and summer photo in spite of the fact that it is the first day of school, so the end of holidays. But... not for us:) We are leaving Nowy Sacz and going on deserved holidays:) We will be back in the second part of September.
