From on High...

In order to see such mountain view you don't have to go far away from the town. This photo was taken from a spot just about one hour walking from the place where we live in Nowy Sacz (and you should know that we reside rather in central part of the town:)).
In the photo there is a view from 'Przekaznik'. When you look at this photo, the town is on the right from it (the view on Nowy Sacz from this place you can see in our new header:))

You live in an absolutely gorgeous place. I had no idea! What a wonderful view! Reminds me of some of our Blue Ridge mountains!

A już myślałem, że jest tu centralny, ale jakoś mi budynki nie pasowały :)

No właśnie -- szczęściarze mają piękne miejsca na spacery za miasto!

A bit foggy but a really effective view. It'so strange to see all these woods around a city. Nice new header and great image.

@gogouci - Nowy Sacz is an altitude of about 300-350m. The photo was taken on an altitude of 450m.

@Hilda - yes, only one hour walk uphill:)

An hour's walk. Hm. How fast do you have to walk? ;)

A splendid view and a nice new header too. We also keep a district larger than the city itself. Makes for a bit of change in scenery.

Although we live in a very pretty spot in Southern Calif., views like this make me very homesick for Europe. It is so lovely.
