Czorsztyn Castle

Today, we are moving to the other side of Czorsztyn Lake. In the opposite of the Niedzica Castle, there is the castle in Czorsztyn.

More detailed photos of the castle soon:)

Looks like a very old castle! Any guesses on the age? Looks to be in very poor condition - too bad!

O tak. To jest własnie to! W Czorsztynie spędzam od lat chociaż parę dni w roku. Inaczej nie umiem :)
Dzięki!

@Leif Hagen - this castle is from the 14th century. It is in poor condition but people can visit it (there are few chambers with exhibits) and beautiful views on Czorsztyn Lake.
Thanks for all your comments!

Each of your photos of this castle have been delightful! This is just amazing. I can't help wonder how in the world it could have been built up there so long ago!

I have not been here for a while - really busy. Loved getting back, and finding Czorsztyn to be photographed!

This one looks more rustic than the other one, yet I bet it has its touch. I'll be waiting for the pics.

extraordinary setting - that must have been some spectacular castle back in the day. I very much enjoy stone castles.
