Niedzica Castle

Today we want to show you the castle in Niedzica - the village situated about 60 km in west-south direction from Nowy Sacz.
The Niedzica Castle was built in the 14th century (more about the history of this place you can find here). The castle is situated on Czorsztyn Lake (there is the dam on the Dunajec River just near the castle).
We will present you some other photos from this place in the nearest future.

This is a real castle, with a lake, towers and surrounded by woods. Very good choice and great image.

Wonderful image. This is a place where the imagination could run wild. I try to imagine the people who built and lived in this place so many years ago.

Beautiful! I don't even need to close my eyes to see the knights riding up to the castle.

Castles, castles, I just love castles! Royal photo! Do they need a prince for the castle? (I'm available)

Now that is a castle! Excellent photo; very well composed.

Is the castle habitable? Can one get inside?
