The Wooden Architecture Route [8] - Petna

We come back to our journey through the Wooden Architecture Route:) Today you can see the bell-tower in Petna from 17th century. On the place when the old church was there is the new one.

More information you can read in the second photo.

Such a big beautiful old church, I like the dome on the roof, so different to our churches.

Another gorgeous one! Wow! I had no idea wood was so much used in architecture there. Lovely!
Thank you for tagging me! I'll try to do it tomorrow :-)

These wooden churches are wonderful. I hope that there is an association, or the government, or the church, that makes sure that they are preserved.

No właśnie -- najpierw zadałem sobie pytanie, gdzie tu jest drewno :) A dopiero potem zobaczyłem dzwonnicę.
