Wonderful photo! The ornateness of gold and the plainness of wood combine to give a sense of warmth...

Chciałem już powiedzieć: "jak ja to znam", bo przecież wiele starych kościołów ma u nas podobny styl. Ale ten jest jednak trochę bardziej surowy i chłodny (i dobrze!).

Beautiful inside as it is outside, this is as I usually imagine the ideal church: not too big, not too dark, ornate but not baroque.

Lovely. Did you say it's more "standard"? ;-)I suppose I know what you mean!

Your photos have a very pretty light. Your country brings me memories of my hometown, where there are many Polish immigrants. My Mother and my Russian Grandmother spoke Polish.

I would have imagined the church to be bigger (as seen from outside), instead it's small and cosy. Beautiful altar.

The altar looks very gothic, with all the pointed arches. Is it still run by Jesuits?
