The church of the Holy Spirit

The church of the Holy Spirit in the very center of Nowy Sacz. As you can see, the building of this temple is a little bit "hidden" and it does not have a shape like other churches.
Tomorrow we will post a photo from the inside of the church, which looks more standard:)
Have a nice weekend!

Beautiful church, and incredibly well kept.
A question: who is portrayed in the statue on the corner?

Same question as Vogon Poet. Who is that?
I love the stair like succession of roofs, like a stairway to heaven. You have a great weekend too!

Great shot. The church has a interesting color. I wonder when it was built. I look forward to seeing more of it.

Tak bywa. Czasem kościół zaskakuje ukryty wśród innych budynków. Ale dlaczego tak jest w tym wypadku?

A zestawienie białych brył bardzo ciekawe :)

@Vogon Poet and @Cieldequimper - This is Piotr Skarga, Polish Jesuit (because the church you can see in our photo is a Jesuit church). You can learn more about Piotr Skarga from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piotr_Skarga
Thanks for all your comments and visits on our blog!
