@Jacob - we know that that's why we put the link to wikipedia(there is the explanation what the word 'tenement' ('kamienica') means in Polish:) It is not a negative word, it describes the type of buildings which are common in Polish cities and towns:)
We would like to share with you our best photos of Nowy Sacz and its neighborhood. Our town is not large (about 85,000 inhabitants; located in the south of Poland) but there is a lot of places which are worth to see.
We hope you will enjoy Nowy Sacz!

Sympatyczne te kamieniczki.
U nas tez jest Konarskiego. Chyba się przejdę i zrobię zdjęcie. Może zrobimy kiedyś taki uliczny pojedynek?
:)

Pojedynek na ulice? No, no :) Konarskiego też u mnie jest, tyle że to zaplecze huty... Więc nie wytrzyma porównania.
Pozdrawiam i życzę Wesołych Świąt!
These buildings appear to be very nice...
In the US, the word "tenement" tends to have an unsavory connotation...low-class.
I don't think that is the case here.
It's a very fine photo.
Lovely architecture, a fairytailish ambiance, me like a lot:)
