Waiting for the spring

You may ask - 'why did you post a photo from outside of the town, a photo from total rathole while this is a city daily blog'?
We should post photos from Nowy Sacz and... we really do it!:) Can you imagine that the place on today's photo is about TWO minutes walking from the very center of Nowy Sacz?:)
In the photo there is the Dunajec River, mountains in the background and the nature which is still waiting for the real spring:) You can also notice the railway bridge over the river (behind the tree in the left side of the photo), which you will see fully in our tomorrow's post:)

Beautiful scenery.
That place is rich in nature.
I can see remainded snow on the mountain in distance.
Those colours of the scenery will change when spring comes.

To get a feeling for a city it is important to to show the surroundings and more, as far as I can see. Townsfolk need Mother Nature so much!
So I find your lovely pre-spring image is well placed.

Will you show us a photo of the same area once it's all in bloom? Hard to believe this is in the middle of the town!

it is good to see the area. I am with Susie of Arabia, it would be nice to see this photo in bloom to compare the seasons.

How fantastic to have such a beautiful rural place so close to the city centre!

Two minutes, eh? Sounds like a case of fast walking, small town or possibly a slow clock... ;)

This looks beautiful! Oeiras also has this country look 2 minutes from downtown, I think we both are very lucky! :-)
