Spring is in the air!

It seems to be that spring is coming. The banks of the Kamienica River are still white, but generally there is no snow in Nowy Sącz.

We are busy now and we have no time to take new photos so we rummaged in our archival pictures and find this one - the view on Kamienica River.

White Gown

The view towards the center of Nowy Sacz. We presented similar photo two weeks ago (here) but we also want to show you this area dressed in the white gown made from snow.

Springtime?

The weather today was beautiful - it was sunny and quite warm. Snow melted and all around us looks like in the springtime. Today we present you the view from one of the bridges on Kamienica River towards center of the town. You can see the townhall and Saint Margaret church.

First snow

First snow. In the foreground you can see the church of Our Lady Immaculate.

New panorama

Last Friday Sandecja stadium gained four 47m height light masts.

Swans!

Three swans in Nowy Sacz! As long as we live here (many many years:)) we have never seen these beautiful birds in our town.

You can meet them when you walk on the banks of the Kamienica River.

Flood

Flood in Nowy Sacz. Again, the last one we had about... 3 weeks ago! You can see photos from today's morning which we've taken in several places in our town, along Kamienica River.

In the 1st and 2nd photo there is the Bridge of the 700 years of the town of Nowy Sacz.
In the 3rd photo - flooded Sandecja Stadium.
In the 4th and 5th photo there is the river near the old town.

In the 6th photo - the view on the Kamienica River from the footbridge. Normally, it looks like this.

And it is still raining...

We started NowySaczDailyPhoto on January 28th, 2009. One year passed so quickly:) We had good and worse moments, but we believe that you may say that genarally we managed to lead this blog:)

Yes, you are right our dear friends - this winter we live in Snowy Sacz:)
In the photo there is Barskie housing estate 'over' the river of Kamienica.

White January

Hello! The beginning of the year of 2010 is very snowy in Poland.
As you can see in the photo (banks of the Kamienica River) everything is white - it seems to look very nice, but makes some troubles as well:)
It is our first post in this year (shame on us:)) so we wish all of you a Happy New Year and happy photoblogging!

After the rain

This is how the river of Kamienica looks like after one night of rain. Here you can see how it looks as usual.

Silver river

The view toward the center of Nowy Sacz from the bridge on the Kamienica River. You can see the tower of Nowy Sacz's townhall and the spires of the Saint Margaret's church and the church of The Holy Spirit (on the right).
