We are coming back to the Wooden Architecture Route. This is the church in Owczary. It was built in the 17th century.
When we were there the service took place. In May in Polish churches and near the roadside shrines people gather before the evening mass and sing litany to Saint Mary (Litania Loretanska).In Owczary there were only few women and some children and they sang out of tune:)

@Jacob - maybe it is because Owczary it is a small village, moreover there live also people who are not Catholic .
This is my hometown. I was born in Nowy Sacz. My parents moved back in 1986 from Phila. I miss my hometown. I have to go back. Great jobs with these photos--just awesome. By the way, my mother's family were the caretakers of the Zamec before the war.
